About this comic
I’m glad you found your way here! This comic is a pet project of mine that I’ve had in mind since 2015, and started drawing in late 2019.
Vápnthjófr saga (Old norse for “The veapon thief’s saga) is a historical fantasy comic, taking place in the kingdom of Jämtland, around year 900, in a world populated by anthropomorphic animals.
A conflict between the aesir-worshippers and vanir-worshippers has escalated into a civil war that’s threathening to tear the kingdom apart. A group of civilians are unwillingly dragged into the conflict, and is faced with a seemingly impossible task.
Updates every tuesday, thursday and sunday.
About the author
My name is Stina, and I am a professional artist from Sweden. I have loved comics since I was little and since one of my other big passions in life is drawing, Ive also created comics for many years. This comic is my first time publishing a long, ambitious comic online, and I am really glad that I’ve managed to get this project started.
Other than comics, I have also illustrated several books and I do technical illustrations for a living. My spare time is often spent with outdoor life and video games (And lots and lots of drawing, obviously)
