Time to dump some monk facts!

1) Medevial manuscripts were indeed full of crude stuff in the marginals, everything from naughty nuns to flatulent monks to “I hate my job” and “I hate my boss”-remarks.

2) Some monks were indeed stoned to death by vikings.

3) There are records of missionaries trying to frame Christ as a warrior god to get the vikings more interested. In the transitional stage between Norse religion and Christianity, Jesus was sometimes seen as one of Odin’s shapes.
