A whale? I suppose it would make sense for aquatic animals to talk in this as well, but this whale is surrounded by land folks. As if it did a belly flop out of the sky into a field, like that scene in Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. Hehe.
The whale there is actually supposed to be Ymir, the first jotun. I figured it would make sense to make him a whale because a) The whole world was built from his dead body so he’s have to be large and b) it fits with the fact that life on earth started in the ocean!
