Now, the story of Baldur’s tragic fate is probably one of the most famous tales from norse mythology, but i’ll repeat it here for those unaware. Balder was the son of Odin and Frigga, the god of light and beloved by all. He started having nightmares about his impending death, and told his mother about it. She made everything in the world- all beast, all plants, metals etc swear to never harm Balder. However, she didn’t bother to ask the humble misteltoe.
