1) In finnish folklore, aurora was said to be snow whipped up into the sky by fox tails. The finnish word for aurora, “Revontulet” literally translates to “fox fires”.

2) Shirin is drawing the Orion constellation there, but it was of course not known as Orion to neither the vikings or the persians. In medevial middle east, the constellation was known as “the giant” and the vikings called it “Frigg’s distaff”
