Vápnthjófr saga

Thw vikings had some different interpretations of the aurora, such as it being the shine of the valkyries’ armor, or bifrost. (I went with the latter here, as you can see) Bifrost is most commonly depicted as a rainbow, but aurora interpretations were also a thing.
